Another star shining bright in the sky ...

Our furiend Payton passed this morning.

We were supposed to meet Payton in the fur

in May at the Milwaukee Pug Fest!

We were so excited and couldn't wait ...

but God had other plans for Payton!

We found this poem  and wanted to share it with you ...

Have you a pug in heaven, Lord?
Is there room for just one more?
"Cause our furiend, Payton, died today;
she'll be waiting at your door.
Please take her into Heaven, Lord
And keep her there for us;
just feed her, pet her, love her, Lord
that's all she'll ask of Thee!

It's our One Year Blogiversary

When we first started this blog last year we really didn't know

if mama would help us keep up with it.

Sometimes she doesn't do the best job, but we love her.

And we had no idea we would have made so many friends.

(We have even met a few in the fur and hope to meet more!)

So it is time to PAWTY and do our very first giveaway ...

Since there are four of us we couldn't agree on the perfect prize.

who would have thought it was possible

to fall head over heels in love with

a tiny bundle of fur!?!

That is exactly what happened to me 4 years ago today!

Here is Zoe with her birth mother

We saw our grandpawrents ...

After we left KPR's March in the Pugs

we went to see grandmaw and grandpaw!

Here is mama with her dad

Grandmaw doesn't like to have her picture taken

so we don't have any with her.

But we love her and gave her lots of kisses!

Dad and grandpaw went to Arby's and got

dinner for all of us! It was yummy!!!

Grandmaw and grandpaw have a fenced-in yard.

So we had fun with their "kids" Fluffy and Princess.

Running outside, then back inside, then back outside ...

Mama tried to get a picture of us with Fluffy and Princess

but they wouldn't sit still long enough. Maybe next time ...

KPR March in the Pugs

We got up early and left home at 7AM

Mama said it was going to take a couple of hours to

get there but she promised we would have fun!

We went to KPR March in the Pugs in Lebanon, Indiana.

MOST of us participated in several events ...

Zoe won FIRST for in the Curliest Tail competion

Peyton won SECOND in the 1-5 year old Pug Races

Liberty won SECOND in Best Dressed Girl

Liberty won SECOND for Best Kisser

Zoe & Liberty won FIRST for Group Costume Contest

And Peyton and Dad won FIRST in the Look Alike Contest!

It was almost over when mama realized she didn't take any pictures.

She was lucky to get one ...

Peyton won this cookie jar in the raffle drawing

At the event we got our pictures taken.

We will post those later!

Each of us got an Ultimate Treatment from Pampered Paws

which included our nails trimmed and grinded, shave between

pads, ear cleaning, facial scrub and paw balm. 

It really wasn't as bad as it sounds!

Pugs In The Kitchen was there!!!

We bought treats and ate them all while we were there.

Then mama ordered us name tags to put on our harnesses.

And before we left we bought enough cookies to fill our cookie jar!

On the way home mama realized that she didn't sign

Webster up for any of the events. She still feels guilty about that.

He said he was okay with that ... he still got enough attention!

Before we went home we went to see our grandpa

who lives in Indianapolis.

We will post about that the next time!
