Webster's 4th Birthday

I'm King for a Day

 

Mom, Dad and I started my birthday

with lunch at

 

We took our food to the park

 

And had a pugnic

I got all of these chicken bites ... they were so good!

 

We walked around the park

 

posed for some pictures

 

 

I think it's time to go to

 

Can you believe it ...

mama thought I should get a mani/pedi!

Really??? On my birthday ...

 

I did get some treats that I really like

so I guess it was okay!

 

Let's go ... I want some ice cream!

 

OMP ... it is yummy!

 

After my nap it was time for my birthday cookie

 

 

And presents ...

 

And now I'm "King Conked-out"!

Surgery

Zoe has been dealing with blood in her urine

for several months. Our vet couldn't find a

reason and even took urine and blood to the

vets at the University of Illinois.

No one could explain what was going on.....

 

Once we got our income tax refund we decide

it was time to get another opinion!

 

So we took Zoe to Arthur Veterinary Clinic

in Arthur, IL. The did an ultrasound, took

some x-rays and scheduled surgery right away!

 

This is what they found her in bladder ...

Some of those stones are huge!!!

 

They will be sent to a lab and analyzed.

Hopefully this will never happen again.

 

At least the cone is clear but she still knows it's there ...

 

Anyone else ever deal with this?????

Hoppy Easter

Yesterday mom and dad did something

they have never done before ...

 

Meet Gracie - our temporary foster

Gracie was surrendered to the Effingham County (IL)

Humane Society on March 6th.

 

Mom and Dad (with the help of some people on Facebook)

busted her out of there yesterday afternoon!

 

Here is Gracie on her FREEDOM RIDE ...

Whitney remembers what it was like being in a shelter

so she let Gracie borrow her bunny ears so that

she could feel like a Princess, too!

We wore our pawsome PUGNOTES sweaters!

 

As a "reward" for being so good

we got some ice cream when we got home.

 

And for dinner we shared a couple of Big Pizza Sliders

from Pizza Hut. They are little 4" pizzas.

Ours had chicken, green bell peppers and tomatoes.

 

Now we'll be dreaming about what we'll find

in our Easter baskets next week .....

Mama usually makes us yummy treats

Instead we got shamrock french toast

 

with green eggs and bacon

 

It actually looked like this when it was given to us ...

 

It's NOT corned beef and cabbage OR green beer

but it sure was tasty!

Today is my Gotcha Day

5 years ago today I got this pug party started!

Mama knew she wanted a pug and she picked me.

Or maybe I picked her ...

 

I jumped higher than my littermates

hoping that she could see me.

My brother was cute and

my sister was a tiny little thing.

But mama picked me up and we both knew

that we were meant for each other!

This is me and mama 5 years ago

 

And here were are today

 

My day started out great ...

I got FIVE Pugs In The Kitchen

Lavendar Chicken treats for breakfast!

 

We napped and cuddled a lot!

 

I got a new shirt and some Greenies

 

 

I was confused when it was time for dinner ...

Mama forgot to feed me ...

After everyone ate mom, dad and I took a ride.

 

Do you see what I see?????

Burger King AND McDonald's!!!

 

I think I'll have an ice cream cone, please!
