Since I am a rescue no one really knows
the date of my birth!
So last year mom and dad decided that
my birthday would be the first
day of Autumn ... which is TODAY!
Every day for the past year,
with tears in her eyes, mama has said
"Happy Birthday ... just in case it's today!
I wouldn't want to miss it!"
Even though TODAY is my birthday
the fun started yesterday.
I got to go on a walk with mom and dad.
We went to the park!
I love to swing
But I wasn't too sure about the slide
Here is my birthday picture
Since it is officially FALL
and it's cooling down (72 degrees)
mom and dad decided we would take a drive.
When I was adopted last year
the people at the shelter told mom and dad
that I was found in Arthur,
a town not too far away!
It's Amish Country ... see the horse and buggy!
(Maybe that's why I ran away last year!?!)
While in Arthur we went to The Great Pumpkin Patch
I'm not too sure about this ride
Mama said I'm the cutest pumpkin in the patch
Do you see me?????
Here I am
If you ask me ... I'd say this is child abuse
Did you know there is a witch hiding in the corn?
I am a Sunflower Girl so I had to get my picture
taken in the sunflower field!
Look how tall I am ...
It really was a fun day!
Wanna know my favorite part?
PUMPKIN ICE CREAM
I let dad have one small bite and
the rest was mine ... ALL MINE!
I sure got a lot of attention.
We talked to 9 people who either have pugs,
used to have pugs or know someone that has pugs.
We even met a pug. Her name is Diamond.
She will be 4 in January.
IF we were allowed to go to school we'd be in the same class!
Here I am with Dad
Look at the pretty flowers
Check out this HUGE pile of pumpkins and gourds
After we left The Great Pumpkin Patch
we went to Petsmart but I'll tell you about
my presents, cake and birthday dinner tomorrow!
Love, Whitney
