Five is Fun ...

Since I came from a shelter and

no one has any information about me

we don't know when I was born!

 

Mama was sad and said everyone needs a birthday ...

so September 22nd became my birthday!

Today we are celebrating my 5th birthday.

 

Since it falls during the work week

we started celebrating on Saturday.

 

Gixxer, my foster brother, told me about

the awesome park he went to last weekend.

 

 

Before we went we did some important stuff first ...

 

Like shopping

 

And we had to get some ice cream, too!

 

 

 

This is some great stuff!

 

Maybe we should get some lunch

before we go to the park ...

I've never been here ... will I like it?

 

It smells so good ...

put the camera down and open these boxes!

 

Chicken, shrimp and lobster, too!

  

 Then we walked around ...

 

I just wanted a nap but mama had other ideas ...

Okay ... that's enough!

 

 For dinner tonight Dad grilled some chicken.

 

Then it was time to pawty!

 

And now it's time for ... CAKE!

It's National Cheeseburger Day ...

The rainbow bridge
received another angel today ...
Our furiend Isabelle

You probably know her from

Southern Fried Pugs

 

We were lucky to have met Isabelle,

her two sisters, Petunia & Tallulah

and their mama, Allyzabethe.

 

Isabelle's favorite food is hamburger

so mama let us have some cheeseburgers

in honor of our furiend!

And it also happens to be

National Cheeseburger Day!

(Isabelle knew what she was doing ...

even people who didn't know her

had a reason to celebrate!)

 

YUM ... look at that melted Swiss cheese!

 

Then we tried to go for a walk ...

Let's just say that two at a time works much better! BOL

We have a visitor

or do we?????

 

Mom knows someone

who knows someone

who has a granddaughter

who has a pug ...

Due to circumstances beyond her control

she was forced her to make a hard decision ...

she can no longer keep her baby.

 

Mom and Dad went to meet them today.

Her name is Chelsey and her pug is Gixxer.

Gixxer just turned 5 last Sunday!

 

Mom and Dad agreed to take him

but we're not sure if he is staying.

(Mom already called Uncle Jay

at Pug Plantation in Tennessee.)

 

On the way home they went to Petsmart

And then to Pets Supplies Plus

 

And McDs, too ...

 

 

After some more errands it was time for lunch

 

This is so yummy

 

We had a picnic at Boneyard Creek Park

 

After we ate we took a walk through the park

 

 

 

There was lots of stuff to pee on

 

Then it was time to go home and meet the family ...

 

Everyone enjoyed the cookies I picked out

 

And, of course, we all had to pose for a group shot

(The diet starts tomorrow!)

 

So far we're all getting along
