Surgery

Zoe has been dealing with blood in her urine
for several months. Our vet couldn't find a
reason and even took urine and blood to the
vets at the University of Illinois.
No one could explain what was going on.....

Once we got our income tax refund we decide
it was time to get another opinion!

So we took Zoe to Arthur Veterinary Clinic
in Arthur, IL. The did an ultrasound, took
some x-rays and scheduled surgery right away!

This is what they found her in bladder ...
Some of those stones are huge!!!

They will be sent to a lab and analyzed.
Hopefully this will never happen again.

At least the cone is clear but she still knows it's there ...

Anyone else ever deal with this?????

  3. The SousPug went through bladder stone & pancreatic surgery when his nightmare started and he only had a couple stones - not as many as Zoe did - wowza! The main thing to do is to have Zoe rest :) AWiggs was put on a special diet to avoid future bladder stones and to deal with his recurring pancreatitis. His vets now keep an eye on his bladder when they do his bi-annual ultrasounds and he's been bladder stone free since. I would suggest to check with the vet to see if he has any diet suggestions for Zoe to prevent stones from reforming.

So glad you got the second opinion and they found the culprit! Sending healing wishes to Zoe and the SousPug sends paw bumps!
