Happy Gotcha Day, Lady Liberty LuvPug

 Today is my "Gotcha Day"

 

Two years ago I met mama and daddy

and we fell in love! 

Look how little I was back then ...

 

On Sunday mama, daddy and I took a drive.

I don't really like riding in the car but they said it would be fun.

We went to Mattoon ... I've never been there!

 

They have a Petsmart

 

so we did a little shopping

 

I got some treats but after reading Puglet's Blog today

I don't think I'm going to get any more of these treats!

I love them but mama said it's not worth it.

 

We also got to go out for lunch.

I NEVER GET LUNCH so that was a great treat.

 

We went to Sonic

 

I placed an order for popcorn chicken.

Mama and daddy got some chicken sandwiches.

And cheesecake bites ... they were pretty tasty

even if I only got a couple of small bites!

Would you believe they had a girl bring it out to the car!?!

I've never been to Sonic but I can't wait to go again!

 

Since it's raining today, my actual Gotcha Day, we stayed home.

Daddy cooked salmon for dinner and I got some!

It was really good!

 

And thanks to our furiends at Urban Hounds and their post today

mama made these great pumpkin peanut butter muffins

when she got home from work ...

She made them a little smaller so that there are 15 muffins

(That means muffins THREE DAYS IN A ROW!!!!!)

 

 

I got some presents, too!

I don't really like clothes but pink is my color, don't you think!?!

I like my busy buddy bouncy bone.

I really LOVE it when these rawhide treats are on it!

AND check out the size of this bully stick - 36"!

Dad is going to cut it into 5 pieces

and he promised mine would be the biggest!!!!!

 

I think I'm pretty lucky!

Happy Pug-O-Ween

 

No costumes this year ... YAY!!!

Okay ... maybe we got a little too excited

Of course - there is always a reward  ...

 

Mama got this recipe from Pinterest

 

WOOFIES

 2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour

2 eggs

1 cup canned pumpkin

 2 tablespoons peanut butter

  1/2 teaspoon salt

3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Mix together the flour, eggs, pumpkin, peanut butter, salt, and cinnamon

Add water as needed to help make the dough workable, but the dough should be dry and stiff.

  Roll the dough into a 1/2-inch-thick roll.

Cut into 1/2-inch pieces.

  Bake in preheated oven until hard, about 40 minutes.

 

Do you ever get 4-legged trick-or-treaters?

Sometimes we do so mama made some extras

 

They are yummy ... not exactlyPITK

but we're not complaining!

Whitney's Day Out

Even though my birthday was a couple of weeks ago

I never did post my about my birthday presents

I got a purple t-shirt and a pink sweater,

a pretty pink harness,

and a couple of toys including

a PITK braided rope toy.

I also got a charm with my name on it,

also from PITK

 

My furiend,  Stella, sent me a card

and a "W" charm! I love it ... Thanks, Stella!

 

And now ~ about my adventure ...

 

This past Sunday mom and dad signed up

to volunteer at Petco for KPR and they took me!

A couple of people wanted me but daddy told them

there are lots of pugs that need homes ... but not this one!

That made me very happy!!!!!

 

After we finished we went to McDonald's for ice cream

This is some goooood stuff

 

Mama got me cleaned up and said we were going to

go see grandpaw

 

and grandmaw

 

And I got to meet my aunts ...

Princess is next to me and Fluffy is in front of her.

We had fun playing and grandmaw gave us treats!

 

I am still exhausted ... but it was so much fun!

Treat Day ...

We don't have a dog park where we live ...

at least NOT in our county - YET!!!

 

Today there was an fundraiser event

and mom and dad volunteered their time.

Hopefully we will be getting a dog park soon ...

wouldn't that be pawsome!!!!!

 

We didn't get to go since they were going to be working.

 

But they sure made it up to us ...

They got us some yummy cupcakes

peanut butter for the boys and carrot cake for the girls

 

We also got some pumpkin cookies

 

And peanut butter stars

 

AND sweet potato rings

 

 

AND then ... our Aunt Bev won a contest

on Facebook from Pugs In The Kitchen

and look at what she gave us ...

Some Lavendar Chicken Treats,

Pumpkin Kisses,

and some Cranberry Chicken Treats

along with a rope toy.

 

She gave mama the I Love My Pug charm.

 

We were so surprised ...

Thank you, Aunt Bev!

We love you!!!!!
